Daisy Bag Pattern
Daisy is a trendy round bag that can be casual or glamorous depending on the fabric and hardware choices! The name of this pattern was inspired by the character Daisy Buchanan from the Great Gatsby. This bag features piping, a recessed zipper closure, adjustable crossbody strap, and optional metal handles. The pattern features a unique, stress-free method to attach lining, with no binding!
FEATURES: piped edges, recessed zipper top closure, contrasting adjustable strap, deep gusset, optional metal handles.
FINISHED SIZE: 8" wide, 8" high, and 3" deep.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS: For the best results, use quilt cotton, canvas, denim, or linen for the exterior. I recommend quilt cotton for the lining. For the contrast use quilt cotton, canvas, denim, linen, cork fabric, or faux leather.
HARDWARE REQUIRED: All of the hardware required for this pattern is included in the 3/4" Basic Hardware Kit.
ZIPPER: Use a 9" single slide zipper, or make the zipper you need with our zippers by the yard
To make a Daisy similar to ours, we are sold out of the Rainbow Hexy we used for the strap. The Main print we used a 1/2yd Parisville Damask (the pattern calls for less, but this is such a large print you'll need more to fussy cut that design), we recommend using the Thistle Hexy for both the lining and in place of the rainbow hexy for the contrast, if you use it for both you'll need 1/2yd. Lastly we added some Teal Bias Piping around the bag, you'll need 1 pack. We opted out of the round metal handles on the side of the bag, but if you want those you can find them here.
