SOSN Upcoming Classes

Using the Master Your Stripology Rulers Book we will learn doing 45* and 60* angles. We will work on 2 runners from the book, Jiggy (45* angles) and Trinket (60* angles).
Class will be taught by Certified Stripology Instructor, Jennifer Halbur. 
You can do 45* angles with the Srtipology Squared Ruler or the Stripology XL Ruler. You will need an XL ruler to do the 60* angles. We will have several Squared and XL rulers for your use during class. 
You will NOt finish both runners in class- you may be able to finish one. 

We will be serving lunch that day! 

This class will be held at the Emmanuel Evangelical Church (1120 15th Ave, Langdon). Please be ready to start class at 10am! 

Cancellation Policy: We consider your enrollment to be a commitment by you to take this class.
We will refund your class fee in store credit if you cancel  at least two weeks prior to class. 
Cancellations by the student less than two weeks before class will not receive any refunds.

• Please have class supplies purchased prior to class. If you realize you need anything "last minute" Tatiana will open around 9ish that morning.
• No photocopied patterns or sharing of patterns or books will be allowed in class due to copyrights

We are SEW excited to have Teresa Coates back in Langdon! Come to this workshop to create your one of a kind Quilt Coat! 

Quilt Coats are all the rage right now! They were seen everywhere at Quiltcon!
Have YOU wanted to make one? It's time to do it!
Teresa Coates designed the pattern and has taught the workshop many times....she will guide you every step of the way. You don't need any garment making experience to craft a beautiful one of a kind coat.  The Elemental Coat pattern is beginner friendly and super versatile.

You have many choices for making your coat. You can use a vintage quilt, or simply a quilt you no longer use. You could make a quilt specifically to use for the coat. You can use a fabric (think cotton, linen, canvas) that you love and have it quilted to use. You will also choose your sleeve length, coat length, optional collar/hood, and optional zipper/buttons.

The cost for the workshop includes the Elemental Coat Pattern and your lunch.

You will need to bring supplies. We will have a printed supply list in the shop, a supply list on our facebook event page, or we will email it to you.

Join us for two great days of sewing, food, learning, friends, and more. We are featuring Stripology education by Jennifer Halbur, a certified Stripology Ruler Instructor. She will be demoing all 4 of the Stripology Rulers. You can expect to learn: what features each of the 4 rulers has, useful accessories for the rulers, how to cut strips with NO elbows, how to use the rulers to cut 1/4" and 1/8" increments, how to use the rulers for HST, QST, and flying geese. Jennifer will also be present to assist you using the rulers both Friday & Saturday!

In between break out sessions, you can work on any projects you'd like. 

Cost is $110 if you register by September 6. After September 6, price goes to $120.

We will provide:

-Workspace/tables : Depending upon attendance we might put 2 people per 8 foot table

- Demos - by Jennifer Halbur, Certified Stripology Instructor.
