SOSN Bag It Up Club

Join Tati for 6 months of bag making exploration designed with beginner to expert sewists in mind. Over the 6 months you’ll learn valuable skills and construction techniques such as how to work with zippers, make box corners, make bias, and so much more. We’ll be exploring 6 “types” of bags starting with basic zipper pouches and working up to larger, more complicated bags such as a backpack and a duffle. 

Each pattern selected is written by a different pattern writer, giving you experience with a variety of writer’s styles.

What you’ll get with the club: Each month you will receive the pattern and a hardware set in nickel (silver) for that bag if needed. Sorry no choice in hardware colors that are provided.

In addition: the first month you'll receive (1) pack of Soft & Stable (72" x 58") *you may need to purchase more Soft & Stable later to complete all of the bags, (1) ByAnnie Zippers by the yard (we will contact you for your color choice & this should be enough to do all bags, it's a 4 yard pack with 16 pulls), and (3) small Atkinson Craft Zippers (we will choose colors).

We will also create a PRIVATE Facebook Group for club members. We are planning to host a "skype" or "zoom" type event each month so you can ask questions as well. We do not have plans for in person club gatherings at this time.

We will mail each month near the beginning of the month. We plan to show off "fabric kits" each month and these can be purchased at a discount and can be shipped with your club shipment.
