Sew On & Sew North News January 2021
Hello everyone! Well, 2021 is here now so let's hope we can get back to some version of "normal" very soon. If you are like me, sewing and quilting has been a wonderful distraction. It helped me keep stay sane in an insane world. That being said, I know many of you continued your sewing and hopefully it brought you peace, but many have either returned to or found a love of sewing and quilting. The sewing industry is growing. Think about what you or others could possibly do to encourage the beginners!
I am planning to offer classes again. I am going to be starting soon with Zoom or Facebook Classes. Most of these will be beginner friendly. We will offer kits and the Zoom or Facebook Class will be part of the kit. Watch for more info!
I am working on a Virtual Retreat. You would sign up by purchasing the "swag bag" which will contain lots of goodies! We will have a Private Facebook group where you can post, share pictures, share video, win prizes, join chat rooms, see demos, etc......So we be be together (but apart). Again, stay tuned for more information.
I am also vending at the Park River Bible camp retreat January 15-17, 2021. Go to their website or call them to sign up.
I believe it's an "all crafts welcome" retreat so it should be FUN!

Last but by no means least....I am looking for 2-3 "models" for a professional photo shoot this Thursday, 1/7/2021. I am not 100% certain of the time (I was told "morning") or of what will be required yet. My shop has been chosen by the RR Tourism Council to have a photo shoot because we are a "unique" business. I hope to know more as the week progresses, so I need a few volunteers who could pop up to the shop on Thursday. Contact me if you would be available (age doesn't matter).
